Welcome to the Coedpenmaen (CPM) Junior Church and Youth Work page.
It’s so great to have our own youth page within the CPM website!
This page will be updated throughout the year with news and events
but here’s the stuff that’s happening week in, week out for CPM
youth:
Junior Church
We meet on a Sunday morning from 10:45am until about 12:15pm. We
have 4 classes: Under 5's, 5 - 10 yrs old and two classes for older
youth; one of which is reading the Bible in a year during 2007, and
another which isn’t.
We have room for more young people - especially in the under 10
classes – so if you have young ones who need to learn about the
things of God through meeting people who are trying to follow Jesus
Christ then send them along - or even better - bring them
yourselves!
Our emphasis is on fun, healthy relationships and a gentle
introduction to the family of God. We don’t force anybody to do
anything - it’s all up to the individual - but we hope to create a
safe environment in which children can grow in faith through the
love of Jesus flowing through us mere mortals!
Youth Club
Our weekly youth club is intended to be a safe environment again for
the young people who are with us on a Sunday (Year 6 - Year 11) to
let their hair down on a Tuesday. They are also able to bring a
friend who can't/won't come on a Sunday to come and have some fun in
the company of Christians to see how we tick.
It's a time to play as individuals, be creative, chill, eat sweets,
listen to some wise words during our "Talk time" and to play as a
group. Over the years we've seen our young people grow in their
faith and friendships during these sessions - it's been a great
thing to see and a great place to be!
